Celebration time as Evesham cyclist completes Tour de France route...

AN Evesham cyclist has completed the entire 2,100-mile Tour de France route one day ahead of the professionals. Helen Russell, a member of the Evesham Wheelers club, battled 40C temperatures, brutal ascents and "frightening" mountain-top thunderstorms before a triumphant arrival in Paris under the shadow of the Eiffel Tower on Saturday .

'The Martian' to premiere at Toronto, 'Demolition' to open

The Toronto International Film Festival has announced a star-studded lineup for its 40th annual event, including anticipated performances from Matt Damon, Johnny Depp, Julianne Moore, and Bryan Cranston. Ridley Scott's "The Martian," starring Damon and Jessica Chastain, will have its world premiere at the festival as will the fact-based drama "Freeheld," starring Moore and Ellen Page as a couple fighting for equal marriage rights.
